Where We Build Workshop: Sexual and Reproductive Health

Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

We all deserve access to information that can help us maintain our sexual health and reproductive freedom. This workshop will answer: What are sexually transmitted infections? How are STIs transmitted and how can they be prevented? What methods of birth control are available and how are they used or accessed? What are some common myths and misconceptions about sexual health and sexuality?

Future workshops—
Oct. 18: Overcoming Barriers and Accessing Care
Oct. 25: Bystander Intervention

Where We Build gives participants the knowledge and skills they need to help create the world they want to see. The five two-hour workshops are facilitated by YWCA Clark County and Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette staff.

Students who attend all sessions may be eligible to participate in further volunteer and internship opportunities with Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette and YWCA Clark County. Food will be provided at each session.
