Where We Build Workshop: Bystander Intervention

Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

We all have the opportunity to positively impact the communities we are part of and this workshop will give you more tools to do so. This workshop will answer: What could you do if you saw abuse happening? What could you do if you weren’t sure what was happening? How can you help a friend who has experienced sexual or domestic violence? How can you help a friend who is exhibiting controlling or abusive behavior?

Where We Build gives participants the knowledge and skills they need to help create the world they want to see. The five two-hour workshops are facilitated by YWCA Clark County and Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette staff.

Students who attend all sessions may be eligible to participate in further volunteer and internship opportunities with Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette and YWCA Clark County. Food will be provided at each session.
