Join us for “Underwater Dreams,” a documentary based on the Common Reading Program book, “Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream.”

Written and directed by Mary Mazzio, and narrated by Michael Peña, the movie tells how four sons of undocumented Mexican immigrants learned how to build an underwater robot—Stinky—from Home Depot parts, defeated MIT students and created a legacy.

Discussion to follow the film. Snacks will be provided.

Free and open to WSU Vancouver students, faculty and staff.
