BaCE Workshop: Accessibility Services at WSU Vancouver

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 10:00am to 11:00am

What does the Access Center offer for our WSU Vancouver students? What services are available to assist faculty and what role might staff play? How can you get information about these services? Services and accommodations are available for eligible students with disabilities, psychological or medical conditions, or temporary injuries that limit their access to the educational environment. Learn about these services for students on campus who may need assistance with a disability accommodation. In this workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn how students are provided equitable access, and who to turn to when you need help understanding and providing this access for students.

Prerequisite: Completion of IDI pre-assessment

Facilitator: Patience McGinnis

Complete the Intercultural Development Inventory pre-assessment to participate in this and other Building a Community of Equity Professional Development Program workshops.
