BaCE: IDI Background and Group Debrief

Tuesday, February 26, 2019 - 10:30am to 12:00pm

This workshop is for anyone who has NOT already gone through a group debrief as part of a council or unit/department. It will be a repeat of information for anyone who has completed a debrief as part of a council or unit/department. This workshop addresses the most common questions asked about the IDI, and takes an in-depth look at the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity, which the IDI is based on. You will also learn the overall IDI orientation of the WSU Vancouver group as a whole (your individual IDI results will remain confidential throughout the group debrief). You will receive specific information about the IDI orientations, how they are measured and how they manifest in the world. The group debrief is for faculty and staff in general. It is scheduled with the qualified IDI administrator and lasts up to 90 minutes.
