STEM Interactive Seminar Series
The Riverpoint Academy & Saint George’s School
Riverpoint Academy is a career academy school that uses a design process to develop solutions. Professional from the community work with students in order to create an authentic learning experience as they dive deeply into science, engineering, mathematics, the Arts and humanities and entrepreneurship — all fueled by radical collaboration with peers, the use of powerful technology and a deeply caring and devoted staff.
Saint George’s School's heritage is in the liberal arts, but it has also been an innovator in delivery of math and science education as well. Experiential education permeates all subject areas at Saint George’s. Classrooms are very interactive places with groups of students working together on projects, thinking critically, and engaging on numerous levels of inquiry. Teachers bring many unique perspectives to their classrooms with many having industry or other non-teaching experience before joining the faculty.
