The Silence is the Sound: Spoken Word Poetry & Personal Storytelling OUTLOUD Workshop
Thursday, March 28, 2013 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Come to this year's spring Marquee Diversity workshop!
Spoken word poet Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai will facilitate an interactive spoken word poetry writing and performance workshop, exploring the creative process from the words on the page to the body on the stage as well as the transition to voice from voicelessness. We'll also dive into how unique rhythms, imagery, and vocabularies can forge fresh approaches to spoken word poetry. No experience necessary. Just a desire to write, move around, and make your voice heard!
