National Unpublished Writers' Day
Sunday, January 27, 2013 - 12:00pm - 5:00pm
National Unpublished Writer’s Day is an opportunity for writers and would-be writers to practice their craft. Creation Stations will be available for participants to explore many aspects of writing:
- Christopher Luna and Toni Partington: Poetry
- Brett Oppegaard: Six-word memoirs
- Kandy Robertson: Rhythm and writing
- Judy Ware: Writing a personal statement
- Rick O’Brien: Screenwriting
- Josh Erdahl: Very, very, very short stories
- Third graders from Image Elementary School: Poetry reading at 2 p.m.
- Bryan Ruhe: Sound recording/writing and book making
- Dene Grigar and Will Luers: Electronic literature
- Michael Rabby: Writing for social media
