Bridging the political divide: how social movements will impact the 2012 election

Diversity Council Research & Curriculum Spring Panel: Students and faculty panelists will share some of their thoughts on how various social movements, as well as more specific issues of race, gender, class, and disabilities, have and will continue to inform this year’s presidential election. Speakers will discuss their own experiences and how they see these movements influencing the 2012 elections and/or the near future of our democracy. The forum concludes with an open and civilized dialogue with the audience. Coffee and dessert will be provided.
